Giving Back

The entire team at Lisa Vorce CO is grateful to be able to do what we love, and to work with amazing people in beautiful locations all over the world. It’s important to us to utilize local artisans wherever we can, and to give back to the locations in which we work - as they give so much to us. Wherever possible, we like to re-purpose and donate items from our events to local charities. For example, we often have leftover blankets and wraps from our “comfort essentials” tables. When we can, we take the remaining blankets to local animal shelters to help keep animals warm and cozy as they are waiting for adoption.

Our annual holiday tradition showcases another small way we try to give back. Each year during the holiday season, we select a charity or charities to highlight on our holiday cards. We make a donation to the charities on behalf of everyone on our list, and we include the names of the charities on our card to help spread the word about their good deeds! One year, we happened to do events in St. Barths, Houston, and Napa Valley, all areas that were subsequently hit by disasters — hurricane, flood and fire! Our charities for that year reflected organizations that could help the people and animals in those places. Lisa’s beloved Lola and Odie, pictured above, are both rescue dogs, and one of the reasons an animal charity is always on the list!
